What is PUK code
PUK code stand for ‘Personal Unlocking Key’ that is a security code that protect your SIM card data. You phone ask for PUK code only when you have entered incorrect SIM card security pins number 3 times. Once mobile start asking for its PUK code then you cannot make any call, SMS from it. Below we are sharing the step-by-step guide to unlock SIM card.
Unlock SIM card Via PUK code
When you have locked SIM card then you doesn’t able to make any call. Then arrange another SIM card from same operator for calling operator.
You also need to your SIM number, then remove your SIM from your phone and note down the number on the SIM card. It is 18-20 digit number depend on the network.
Now call to network operator (customer care) from other phone with same network to ask about you SIM’s PUK code.
Network operator will be asked you your Mobile number, SIM number and the name of SIM owner.
Once the details are verified, network operator gives you your PUK code.
Enter PUK code and your SIM is unlocked.
Note: – If you enter wrong PUK code for 5 times your SIM card will be blocked forever.
